I would like to personally thank you for visiting my website.  I am dedicated in offering you the most up-to-date professional fitness services to educate and motivate you in reaching your fitness goals.

Let me introduce myself: 

My name is Karen Barrett and I am the sole proprietor of Stay F.I.T., a fitness business located in Concord, New Hampshire.  I have been in business since Fall 2005 and I have over 20 years experience as a certified fitness professional, specializing in one to one training, Group X (group exercise) classes, and Pilates equipment training.

My business location is 88 North Main Street, Suite #207.  I am located on the 2nd floor right above Caffenio coffee shop.   The classes I offer are Pilates Fundamentals, Pilates Essentials I and II, Pilates w/Props, Balls and Bands, Circuit Strength, Core Synergy, Fitness Yoga, Yoga Stretch, Yoga Combo, Kickin' Kenpo, Cardio Play, and Boot Camp (boot camp is offered June through September). 

My Pilates equipment is provided by Peak Pilates.  I have a MVe Pilates Reformer and MVe Pilates Chair. I hold certifications in Fundamentals of Pilates from NETA, Level I and II Mat from Stotts, Primary Mat and Advanced Mat Pilates from Fitour, Level I and II Reformer from Stotts. 

I have been actively involved in the fitness industry whether it be as a participant or instructor since 1979.  I have seen the evolution of fitness from Jane Fonda to Pilates, leotards and leg warmers to yoga-inspired activewear, high-top suede sneakers to cross trainers.  I am happy and proud to say I have instructed every module of exercise from past to present and yes, embarassed to say, wore every fitness fashion trend.
